This project asks you to identify your ecological address. You must find out where you get your water and where it goes when it leaves your house. You must also identify the direction (north, south, east, west) in which your house faces. You must check out soil, rocks, topography, plants and animals in your backyard. Your must discuss the history of your neighborhood. Was it originally farmed? What use change will occur in the future? Have fun identifying your ecological address.

Well, I think we get our water from the towns reservoir, then when we are done with it, it goes to a water treatment facility to get cleaned and recycled. My house faces Northwest. The soil around my house is good for planting and is rich. We have a vegetable garden. The ground is fairly flat and a little sandy but we do live close to the water, Follins Pond, so this is understandable. In my backyard there are pine trees and some oak trees along with a couple shrubs here and there. There are squirrels, crows, and if it is the right time of the year even some blue jays in my backyard. Also every once and a while I see a cotton tail rabbit. I am not sure about the history of my neighborhood but I assume that at one point it was all trees, and if u go even further back it was covered in water.
